Hi, I’m Pam! I grew up on a farm where my family raised Hereford cattle, beagles, and barn cats that my sister and I always tried to sneak in the house. ☺ We also bred American Quarter Horses, and I showed them. After high school, I got my bachelor’s degree in animal science at Missouri State University and went on to train animals for Animal Behavior Enterprises in Arkansas. Eventually, I moved to the Quad Cities and began working for the Scott County Humane Society, where I have been working for the past 28 years giving care and love to neglected animals in the community. In addition to working at SCHS, I have also been on the boarding staff at Whitehaven for 12 years. I have three dogs of my own at home, and I love reading, listening to jazz, and spending time with my family and friends.
